- On December 1st and 2nd Chris Botti, along with a full orchestra, and seven special guests (including Sting, Gladys Knight, Paula Cole, Renee Olstead, Paul Buchanan and Burt Bacharach) filmed a PBS special and live DVD at the Wilshire Theatre in Los Angeles. The air date on PBS is tentatively scheduled for March 2006.
- Billy Kilson performed at the 10th annual Columbus Drum Daze in Columbus, Ohio on April 17th, 2005. Joining him on stage were James Genus and Mark Flugge. Special thanks to Jim Rupp and his crew for including us in this great event.

- Billy toured with Chris Botti during November and December in Europe. Chris opened for Sting.
- Billy Kilson is nominated for a Grammy for his work on Extended Play - Live at Birdland by the the Dave Holland Quintet!
- Billy Kilson received his first Grammy as part of the Dave Holland Big Band. The band won in the "Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album" for their project "What Goes Around."
- Down Beat magazine once again named Billy one of the Top Drummers Deserving Recognition.
